break
during
the
20th
AGM
held
on
the
29
September
2004.

The
NWC
Trust
has
celebrated
20
years
since
the
inaugural
Annual
general
meeting
in
1984.
over
this
period,
the
Trust
has
made
significant
contributions
to
the
development
of
Pukaha
Mount
Bruce.
This
has
included;
the
construction
of
the
visitor
centre
and
the
kiwi
house.
The
funding
of
a
kokako
aviary,
numerous
minor
developments,
the
replacement
of
the
audio
visual
and
interpretive
displays.
The
most
recent
development
has
been
the
construction
of
the
Te
Whare
Huia
and
Colin
Scadden
room
that
has
provided
an
excellent
facility
for
schools
education
and
major
improvements
to
the
Cafe
Takahe.
The
most
recent
effort
has
been
the
massive
fund
raising
campaign
that
resulted
in
raising
$558,000
for
the
forest
restoration
project.
