Donate to Pukaha Mount Bruce

The National Wildlife Centre Trust is a charitable non-profit trust that depends on the generosity of the community to achieve its mission of supporting conservation at Pukaha Mount Bruce and educating New Zealander's about our precious wildlife.

You can make a contribution to improvements at Pukaha Mount Bruce in several ways.

The Pukaha bird song CD contributes to the forest restoration, and our "Sponsor a Hectare" of pest control initiative.

If you wish to make a financial contribution, you can identify the cause you wish to support.

You can also leave a bequest legacy in your will to the National Wildlife Centre Trust.

All donations towards the restoration of the Pukaha Mount Bruce forest and conservation, education and visitor facilities are managed by the National Wildlife Centre Trust Board.

The following are ways you can contribute directly through a donation.

Pukaha forest restoration fund. Help bring the forest back to life and make the forest safe for native birds to set free and breed in the wild. Donations go towards the day to day operational costs associated with the restoration of the Pukaha Mount Bruce forest. For example, the purchase of traps, bait stations, employment of pest control staff, trap maintenance and wild bird monitoring etc.

Pukaha Community Challenge trust account. Invest in this untouched capital-based fund, being built on by donations. Our goal is for the interest drawn off this fund to finance the Pukaha restoration project in perpetuity by 2010.
